What?! Nothing from the 'Nightmare on Elm Street' series? Just watched 'New Nightmare' again the other day, so here's a clip.

Anyway, here's a list of 5 of the Top Dream Sequences in Film.

Wizard of Oz? Hello?

Ha, I've seen this movie at least a dozen times over the years (Carpenter's classic 'THEY LIVE'), but after re-watching again last lazy Sunday, I noticed that in the scene where Piper puts on the glasses for the first time and visits the book stand, he's prominently standing next to the book "Edgar Cayce on ESP".

Because short and half-assed is how we like things, right?

Watched S. Darko. last night, the "unofficial" sequel to the cult classic 'Donnie Darko'.

All I can say is that it had potential, and I always enjoy some interdimensional hijinx. Frank is back, kinda, as we delve a little deeper into "The Philosophy of Time Travel" by Roberta Sparrow.

Not as strong as the original, by any stretch, but it's worth a rent if  you're a fan. Daveigh Chase did a nice job reprising her role as Samantha Darko, and did you know that she also played Samara Morgan in The Ring?

Now if we could only get people to actually watch Southland Tales. The Donnie Darko universe would be interesting in comic book or graphic novel form, though there's only so much you can do with it. Don't want to restrict the the mythos by overplaying the card.
